“Your student may know
what an endangered species is.
But do they know how to save one?”

The Wolf Fund

Purpose

Dispel the myths of wolf behavior,
thereby providing an unbiased view of a very misunderstood animal;

Explain the natural traits,
needs and actions of a healthy wolf pack, thereby building an understanding of why wolves do what they do, and;

Analyze the wolf’s personality,
explaining how it is unsuitable as a pet in most households, whether in the pure form, or as a wolf-dog mix.

Programs

WolfWisdom© - Educational Programs

Wolf has developed a series of educational presentations geared to meet a wide variety of age groups and situations. Wolf stresses that wolves belong in the wild and should not be bred to dogs. Wolf also includes more information on the reintroduction of wolves in Yellowstone and other parts of the U.S. We include anecdotes on the wolves in our care as well as providing information on the social structure and lives of wolves in the wild. Wolves have an abundance of knowledge and wisdom, thus the name "Wolf Wisdom". As we at Wolf have said in the past, "these beings teach us something new everyday". Wolf will continue, as each new lesson is learned, to pass on the information to all who have a desire to learn. All of the programs include attendance by Wolf’s Ambassador Animals, and can be given indoors or out.

This program is designed for age groups from teens to senior citizens. It incorporates an hour-long slide show, giving detailed information on everything about wolves, from physical characteristics to pack dynamics and social behavior. It additionally allows approximately 30 to 45 minutes for questions, answers and wolf mingling. (All attendees receive a Wolf button and Wolf brochure.)

Abbreviated Version
This program is designed for age groups from 3rd grade to senior citizens, where time availability may be a concern. It incorporates a 30 minute long slide show, giving less detailed information on everything about wolves, from physical characteristics to pack dynamics and social behavior. It additionally allows approximately 15 to 30 minutes for questions, answers and wolf mingling. (All attendees receive a Wolf button and Wolf brochure.)

Short Version
This program is designed for age groups from kindergarten to senior citizens, where time is of an even greater concern. It does not involve a slide show, and is approximately 30 to 45 minutes long for a short presentation, questions, answers and wolf mingling. (All attendees receive a Wolf button and Wolf brochure.)

WolfInfo© - General Tabling

Wolf participates in a wide variety of public events, in order to raise awareness and also raise funds. These events can extend from private store owners involved in environmental issues to public festivals and conventions. Question and answer discussions are handled with a one-on-one approach.

WolfReiki© - Healing With Wolves

Reiki, an ancient healing art defined as "universal healing energy" is channeled through healers who have received attunements from Reiki Masters. As a recipient of the healing energy, you are free to receive as much or as little as makes you comfortable. Healing occurs on all levels: mental, physical, emotional and spiritual. A recipient may, at varying times, experience tingling or energy movement. Many feel warmth. Some recipients like to meditate, pray or visualize a safe, peaceful place or just feel the energy as it enters and begins the healing process. The Reiki healers associated with Wolf (Wolves Offered Life & Friendship) have seen that wolves are healers in their own right. Wolves can and do channel the same "universal healing energy" as their human brethren. Recipients of these combined energies should anticipate remarkable results.
