Snow, Snow, Snow, Wind & More Snow Coming

Before The Last Snow & Wind
At The Sanctuary

After our last E-News Update, WideAwake received MORE SNOW and now the winds are blowing between 80-100 mph. Our last contact with the on-site caretaker (Charlie) indicated that his snow removal equipment can no longer move the massive amounts of snow that has fallen or drifted across the access road to WideAwake. This is near Black Hawk Colorado.
The walls of snow along the 3 mile access road to WideAwake now prevents the new or drifting snow from being removed.
We have been trying to contract with a snow removal companies, but cannot afford the $25,000 plus estimates they are giving us.
We need immediate help as a new storm is on its way and supposed to arrive by Wednesday night. This will take big equipment, probably with tracks. We are also concerned about getting supplies into WideAwake before the entire road is able to be plowed. This we believe could be done with snow mobiles. We need to get meat in for the animals and remove as much snow from their enclosures before the next storm arrives.
If anyone has or knows of individuals who might be able to help with the heavy equipment or snow mobiles or might have some other ideas, please call:

Frank or Pat at 970-416-9531
