"The greatness of a nation and
its moral progress can be judged
by the way its animals are treated."

Mahatma Gandhi

General Information

Staff
The majority of the tasks required to care for the animals are performed on a volunteer basis. The founders do not receive a salary.

Volunteers
The minimum age for volunteers is 16 with direct supervision of a parent at the facility. Otherwise the minimum age is 18.

Wolf does require all volunteers to become members of Wolf. Along with membership a volunteer application must also be filled out and submitted. (you can download a copy of the application - below)

Wolf does maintain a high level of standards and accountability for volunteers, and suggests that those interested review our volunteer policies (below) before making a decision.

Wolf has a wide variety of volunteer tasks that need to be performed in order to run the organization. Those tasks vary from administrative and fund-raising to working with the animals at the sanctuary and in rescue situations. A better idea of those tasks are represented on the volunteer application, which can be downloaded from this site.
