Staff
The majority of
the tasks required to care for the animals are performed on a volunteer
basis. The founders do not receive a salary.
Volunteers
The minimum age for volunteers is 16 with
direct supervision of a parent at the facility. Otherwise the minimum
age is 18.
Wolf
does require all volunteers to become members of Wolf. Along with membership
a volunteer application must also be filled out and submitted. (you can
download a copy of the application - below)
Wolf
does maintain a high level of standards and accountability for volunteers,
and suggests that those interested review our volunteer policies (below)
before making a decision.
Wolf
has a wide variety of volunteer tasks that need to be performed in order
to run the organization. Those tasks vary from administrative and fund-raising
to working with the animals at the sanctuary and in rescue situations.
A better idea of those tasks are represented on the volunteer application,
which can be downloaded from this site.
